22 After removing him, He raised up David to be their king. He also testified about him and said, ‘I have found David, the son of Jesse, a man after My heart, who will do My will.’[a]

23 “From this man’s seed, in keeping with His promise, God brought to Israel a Savior[b]—Yeshua. 24 Before His coming, John had proclaimed an immersion of repentance to all the people of Israel.
